Beirut, Lebanon – The Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants welcomed the United Arab Emirates’ decision to lift its travel ban on its citizens to Lebanon. He affirmed that this step represents a clear message of confidence in the Lebanese state and the government’s efforts toward reform and strengthening stability.
The Minister explained that the UAE’s decision reflects the strength of the fraternal relations between the two countries. It also underscores the UAE’s continued support for Lebanon at this time. He noted that the resumption of travel will contribute to revitalizing the tourism sector and boosting the economy. Furthermore, the decision enhances confidence in the internal situation.
He noted that the Lebanese government is continuing to implement its reform program and working to improve security and economic conditions, thereby providing a safe and attractive environment for visitors and investors. He also affirmed that the return of Emirati tourists will have a positive impact on various vital sectors.
The Foreign Minister emphasized Lebanon’s appreciation for the UAE’s supportive stances. He expressed his country’s aspiration to strengthen bilateral cooperation and expand the partnership between the two countries in the political, economic, and investment fields, explaining that this serves the common interests of the two brotherly nations.
