Washington, DC – US Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander Admiral Brad Cooper conducted a tour that included Israel and Lebanon. The visit aimed to discuss practical steps for implementing the framework agreement between the two countries, as part of US efforts to support stability and enhance security in the region.
In a statement, CENTCOM confirmed that the visit included meetings with political and military officials in both Israel and Lebanon. Discussions focused on mechanisms for implementing the agreement and ways to strengthen security coordination. Additionally, measures to maintain calm and prevent any escalation along the border were discussed.
The statement indicated that the United States continues to work with its regional partners to support the implementation of agreed-upon commitments. This contributes to consolidating regional stability and strengthening security cooperation among the parties involved.
