A threat to the region and its stability. Gargash condemns Iranian attacks on Kuwait

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Dr. Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the UAE President, confirmed on Monday the UAE’s condemnation of the “brute Iranian attacks” on Kuwait. Stressing that it represents a violation of sovereignty and international law, and undermines regional efforts aimed at ending the cycle of wars and crises in the region.

Gargash wrote on his X account: “We condemn the continued brutal Iranian attacks on the sisterly State of Kuwait. At a time when the region is witnessing delicate efforts to get it out of the cycle of wars and crises, this escalation and violation of sovereignty and international law only reflects an unacceptable approach that undermines efforts aimed at maintaining security and stability.”

ندين استمرار الاعتداءات الإيرانية الغاشمة على دولة الكويت الشقيقة، ففي وقت تشهد فيه المنطقة جهودًا دقيقة لإخراجها من دوامة الحروب والأزمات، لا يعكس هذا التصعيد وانتهاك السيادة والقانون الدولي إلا نهجًا مرفوضًا يقوض الجهود الرامية إلى حفظ الأمن والاستقرار.

He continued: “We stand with sisterly Kuwait heart and soul, and we affirm that its security is our security, and that these dangerous attacks represent a direct threat to the region and its stability.”
