Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Emirates Judo Federation announced that the UAE national team will participate in 3 fights at the opening of the Asian Junior Championship. Hosted by the Uzbekistan Football Federation in Tashkent on May 28 and 29, with the participation of 692 players from 11 countries.
He said in a statement that the UAE national team will compete in the lightweight competition at the opening on May 28. Weights under 55, 60 and 66 kg are followed the next day by heavyweight competitions, under 73 and 81 kg.
He pointed out that the mission will leave on Tuesday for Uzbekistan, headed by Mohammed Jassim, Secretary-General. It includes 5 players: Masoud Al-Masmari (under 55 kg), Anas Al-Yamahi (under 60 kg), and Saqr Al-Otaibi (under 66 kg). Hamid Al-Mazmi (under 73 kg), Youssef Al-Awad (under 81 kg), in addition to the technical staff.
