Al Ain thrashes Dibba 4-0 on the night of their UAE league title celebration (video)

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Ain achieved a resounding victory over their guest Dibba with four goals to nil, in the match that brought them together this evening at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, as part of the final round of the tournament.

Soufiane Rahimi opened the scoring for Al Ain in the 15th minute, before Laba Kodjo added the second goal in the 21st minute, ending the first half with the home side leading 2-0.

In the second half, Al Ain continued their attacking dominance, with Eric Jorgins adding a third goal in the 79th minute. Yahya Bin Khaliq then completed the rout in stoppage time.

With this victory, Al Ain finished the season at the top of the league table with 68 points. Meanwhile, Dibba’s tally remained at 20 points, placing them last and officially relegating them to the First Division.
