Abu Dhabi, UAE – Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, received an official cable from Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Bahrain.
In it, he affirmed his country’s full solidarity and support for the UAE in facing current challenges.
Bahraini solidarity and condemnation of the threats
In his telegram, the Speaker of the Bahraini Parliament expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s full support for the United Arab Emirates.
He emphasized that his country stands shoulder to shoulder with the UAE in all matters concerning its security
and stability, given the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two nations.
Al-Musallam affirmed Bahrain’s condemnation of any acts targeting the security of the UAE or the safety of its civilian infrastructure.
He considered such actions a direct threat to regional stability and a clear violation of relevant international laws and conventions.
Affirming the unity of common destiny
He pointed to the deep historical ties between the two countries,
emphasizing that the security of the UAE is an integral part of Bahrain’s security,
under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa
and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
He also highlighted the strategic bonds and shared interests that unite the two nations.
The Speaker of the Bahraini Parliament reiterated his country’s full support
for all measures taken by the UAE to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability.
He affirmed his country’s commitment to safeguarding its national resources and expressed his wishes
for continued security and stability for the UAE, its leadership, and its people.
This message comes as part of a series of Arab and international stances supporting the UAE, amidst escalating tensions in the region,
which necessitates enhanced joint coordination to confront challenges and maintain regional security and stability.
