Brussels, Belgium – In a firm international stance, the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, strongly condemned the missile and drone attacks targeting civilian infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates.
Costa, in a post on his official X account, asserted that these attacks constitute a blatant violation of international norms. He added, “These violations of sovereignty and international law are unacceptable and must stop.”
The European Council president’s statement reflects growing concern in Brussels regarding the targeting of civilian infrastructure. This situation presents the region with serious security challenges. Therefore, these challenges require international cooperation to counter threats to air navigation and vital economic facilities.
