Abu Dhabi, UAE – Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stated that targeting civilian infrastructure represents a serious violation of international law. Furthermore, he stressed that such actions cannot be justified under any circumstances.

Targeting Civilian Infrastructure and Legal Violations

According to Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, targeting civilian infrastructure directly contradicts established international legal principles. In addition, these acts undermine fundamental humanitarian standards. As a result, stronger global commitment is required.

Impact on Civilians

Reports indicate that attacks have affected schools, hospitals, and essential services. Meanwhile, targeting civilian infrastructure has led to casualties and injuries. Moreover, it spreads fear among populations, worsening humanitarian conditions.

Economic Consequences

The statement also highlighted that targeting civilian infrastructure, especially energy facilities and transport hubs, threatens the global economy. On the other hand, supply chains may be disrupted. Therefore, international trade and energy security could face serious challenges.

Red Line and Warnings

Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized that targeting civilian infrastructure is a red line. Additionally, he called for an immediate halt to such violations. However, he stressed the importance of protecting civilians at all times.

Risk of Escalation

The issue of targeting civilian infrastructure comes amid rising regional tensions. Furthermore, continued actions could lead to broader escalation. Finally, concerns remain over long-term impacts on regional and global security.

In conclusion, targeting civilian infrastructure represents a major challenge for the international community. Thus, urgent action is needed to prevent further deterioration.
