Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates and Germany discussed the latest developments in the region as part of political consultations aimed at coordinating positions and strengthening joint efforts to support regional stability in light of escalating challenges.

During diplomatic contacts and talks, both sides emphasized the importance of intensifying joint international action to contain crises and promote political solutions that ensure de-escalation, particularly given the rapidly escalating tensions in the region that are impacting maritime security and global supply chains.

The UAE and Germany stressed the need to support dialogue and strengthen communication channels between the parties involved, contributing to building understandings that reduce tensions and pave the way for sustainable settlements.

The talks also addressed the impact of the current situation on energy markets and international trade. The importance of maintaining stable supplies and avoiding any disruptions that could affect the global economy was emphasized.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination on issues of mutual interest, which strengthens the role of diplomacy in addressing crises and supports the international community’s efforts to consolidate security and stability.

These moves come within the framework of the UAE’s growing role in supporting regional stability. They also demonstrate Germany’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships to address current challenges through dialogue and multilateral cooperation.
