Abu Dhabi, UAE – The UAE Federal National Council strongly condemned the terrorist plot aimed at undermining national unity and destabilizing the country.
This condemnation followed the discovery and arrest of a terrorist cell
that was planning attacks against state security and public safety.
A firm stance against terrorism
Saqr Ghobash affirmed that the Federal National Council takes a firm national stance against this crime,
considering it a direct attack on state security, a blatant act of treason,
and a violation of its laws and legislation, which are based on justice and the preservation of human dignity.
The Council commended the vigilance and high efficiency of the security services in uncovering and thwarting the plot.
It also emphasized that these efforts reflect the strength of the state’s institutions
and their constant readiness to protect its security and safeguard its achievements.
This is evident in their response to any threats or attempts at sabotage.
Enhancing road safety
In a related context, the Federal National Council discussed the government’s policy on traffic safety and flow during its session.
It adopted several recommendations, including employing artificial intelligence technologies in road management,
enhancing coordination among relevant authorities, developing a unified regulatory framework
for intelligent transportation technologies, and improving infrastructure efficiency.
The Council affirmed that the UAE will remain a model of stability and tolerance.
It will also continue to confront any extremist ideology or organization that threatens its security.
Furthermore, it emphasized that the unity and cohesion of society
are the cornerstones of protecting the nation and advancing its development.
