Amman, Jordan – The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan strongly condemned the terrorist plot targeting the national unity, security, and stability of the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
In an official statement issued Monday evening, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and Expatriates affirmed Jordan’s categorical rejection and strong condemnation of this heinous plot,
emphasizing that the security of the UAE is a fundamental pillar of Arab national security,
and that any attempt to destabilize it is an attack on the values of coexistence and social peace in the region.
Full support for all sovereign and security measures
The Kingdom expressed its absolute solidarity with the United Arab Emirates in confronting terrorist threats,
affirming its full support for its brothers in all the steps and measures
they take to protect the sovereignty of the state and preserve the safety of citizens and residents.
The statement indicated that the close security coordination between Oman and Abu Dhabi represents
a strong bulwark against organizations attempting to export chaos,
especially in light of the current regional circumstances that require high vigilance
to thwart the plans of cells linked to foreign agendas and dismantle their organizational structures.
A firm rejection of all forms of terrorism and violence
Jordan reiterated its firm stance against all forms of violence and terrorism, regardless of their motives or sources,
particularly those cloaked in extremist ideologies that seek to undermine the social fabric of Arab states.
The statement clarified that Jordanian policy is based on the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of states,
while simultaneously commending the high level of competence demonstrated
by the UAE security services in dealing with these threats with composure and professionalism.
This enabled them to dismantle the terrorist cell before it could carry out its criminal plans,
thus strengthening the region’s resilience and stability in the face of extremism.
Unity of destiny and protection of development gains
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs concluded that the deep-rooted historical and fraternal ties
between the two leaderships and peoples make defending the stability of the UAE a national duty.
It affirmed that attempts to obstruct the UAE’s path of prosperity and economic growth through terrorist
operations will fail in the face of the cohesion of the home front and the popular support for the leadership.
The Kingdom wished the UAE continued security and safety, emphasizing that the UAE’s “Falcon Economy”
and pioneering model will remain impervious to sabotage thanks to ongoing
security vigilance and joint Arab cooperation in drying up the sources of terrorism.
