Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed its condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the aggressive Iranian attack. Which targeted an ADNOC tanker while it was crossing the Strait of Hormuz. Stressing that these unacceptable attacks are an attack on the security and safety of maritime navigation, and on the security of global energy supplies.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the Kingdom stressed that Iran’s continued launching of these attacks is a serious violation of international laws and norms. Including Security Council Resolution No. 2817, which guarantees freedom of navigation and safe transit in sea lanes.

Iran held the consequences of its continued attacks, calling on Iran to immediately stop these violations to preserve the security, stability and safety of the region.

The Kingdom renewed its full solidarity with the UAE and its support for the measures it is taking to preserve its sovereignty and capabilities.
