Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, discussed with his brother, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, during their meeting, developments in the situation in the region in light of the military escalation and its repercussions on regional and international security and stability. In addition to its serious effects on the security of international navigation and the global economy.

The meeting also touched on the ongoing Iranian terrorist attacks against the UAE, Qatar and countries in the region. Targeting civilians, civilian facilities and infrastructure, and the efforts of the two countries to defend their security, sovereignty, and the integrity of their territories and citizens.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani discussed fraternal relations and ways to enhance various paths of cooperation and joint work. In a way that serves the development priorities and common interests of the two countries, and brings goodness and prosperity to their people.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Presidential Office. His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of officials.

It was also attended by the delegation accompanying His Highness the Emir of Qatar, which included His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir’s personal representative. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Head of the Amiri Diwan, Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Khalifi, and a number of officials.

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in the country earlier on Tuesday. On a fraternal visit, he was received at the airport by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and a number of His Highnesses sheikhs and officials.
