The UAE President visits the Ministry of Defense to review military readiness and regional developments.

Mohammed bin Zayed is following up on defense and military developments and stresses the importance of raising operational readiness in light of the military escalation and its repercussions on the region's security and stability.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, visited the Ministry of Defence. The visit was part of his ongoing monitoring of current developments. He reviewed the latest developments related to defence and military affairs. In addition, His Highness also followed up on efforts to enhance operational readiness and preparedness for various challenges.

During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the readiness level of the armed forces and their capabilities in dealing with various emerging challenges. This comes amidst the current military escalation. These events have serious repercussions. In particular, they are affecting security and stability in the region.

His Highness the President of the UAE at the Ministry of Defense

His Highness the President of the UAE was accompanied during the visit by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence. His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan served as Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region. He was also in attendance. Also accompanying him were His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs.

His Excellency Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, and His Excellency Lieutenant General Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence, were present as well. In addition, His Excellency Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Military Advisor to the President, and His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, were present.

His Excellency Faisal Abdul Aziz Al Bannai, Advisor to the President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology, was also in attendance. A number of senior officers from the Ministry of Defence attended the visit too.
