Dubai, UAE – Emirates Airlines announced that transit passengers (transit) will be accepted through Dubai, for travel only.

This is in case their subsequent flights will be operated.

The carrier pointed out that all its scheduled flights to and from Dubai will continue to be suspended until 23:59 UAE time on March 7.

This is due to the closure of airspace in a number of countries in the region.

She explained that she continues to operate a limited flight schedule, giving priority to passengers who have previous reservations on these limited flights.

Emirates Airlines called on passengers not to go to the airport unless they are notified directly by the company.

Or they had a confirmed reservation on these flights.

The carrier confirmed that it continues to closely monitor the situation and will work to develop its operating schedule in accordance with developments.

She indicated that the latest flight updates will be published on her website.

The company explained that travelers affected by flight cancellations have two options: the first is to rebook an alternative flight to their intended travel destination no later than March 27.

She also called on those who booked through travel agents to contact their agents, while she asked those who booked directly through her to contact her.

She added that the second option is the possibility of requesting a refund of the ticket value for reservations issued on or before March 12.

This is done by filling out the refund form if the reservation is direct via Emirates Airlines.

Those who booked through travel agents should contact their agents.

The carrier advised passengers to check the status of their flights and review the latest operational updates via the website.

In addition to following up on their email for any notifications regarding changes or cancellations before heading to the airport.

She stressed that the safety and security of passengers and crew members remains her top priority.
