أبوظبي، الإمارات – وقعت شركة “K2” المملوكة لحكومة أبوظبي والمتخصصة في الأنظمة الذاتية المتقدمة والتقنيات المدعومة بـ الذكاء الاصطناعي، مذكرة تفاهم إستراتيجية مع شركة “WeRide”.

With the aim of cooperating in the joint operation of self-driving buses in Abu Dhabi.

This is supported by the Intelligent Self-Moving Systems Council and the Integrated Transport Centre.

وجاء توقيع المذكرة على هامش معرض يومكس 2026 وفي إطار دعم رؤية إمارة أبوظبي الهادفة إلى تعزيز منظومة التنقل الذكي عبر تمكين التطبيق العملي لخدمات النقل العام ذاتي القيادة.

This contributes to consolidating the emirate’s position as a global center for smart and sustainable solutions in the transportation sector.

Walid Al Balushi, Vice President of Strategy at K2, stressed that the strategic cooperation with WeRide reflects the importance of partnerships in achieving a future in which self-driving technologies operate efficiently and sustainably.

He said that K2 employs its local expertise, fleet management capabilities and experience in implementing mobility solutions on the ground.

WeRide contributes its global expertise in autonomous vehicles and extensive operational record.

K2 has a proven track record of operating mobility solutions across autonomous driving systems.
