He witnessed the signing of a new partnership agreement between Dubai Municipality and both the General Construction Company and Binghatti Properties.

The agreement aims to establish the “Hawi Al Barsha” and “Hawi Muhaisnah” communities.

This expands the “Hawi Dubai” initiative following the success of its first phase in Nad Al Sheba 4.

Moreover, the signing of the agreement aligns with the directives to enhance the role of the community and support quality of life. It also aims to solidify the concept of social spaces.

that reflect local identity and meet the needs of diverse segments of society, in accordance with Dubai’s comprehensive urban vision.

The agreement was signed by His Excellency Engineer Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality;

Hamad Ali Saif Lootah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Construction Company;

This was attended by Abdullah bin Ghatti, Head of Sales at Binghatti Properties.

Other attendees included several executive and administrative leaders from the participating parties.

Hawi Dubai.. spaces for families

Dubai Municipality confirmed that the new partnership reflects its keenness to expand cooperation

with the private sector to develop quality community destinations that promote social cohesion.

Furthermore, it noted that it welcomes all investors and developers who wish to contribute

to the implementation of the “Dubai Environs” project in new locations in the emirate.

These will be spaces that bring together families and individuals and are ready for daily use and community events.

The Emirati identity is enshrined

Engineer Marwan bin Ghalita stated that the initiative represents a qualitative leap in the design of “Hawai” (traditional neighborhoods).

It transforms them into integrated interactive spaces that balance modern needs with cultural identity.

He added that these spaces contribute to strengthening communication and cohesion among Dubai residents.

They adhere to the highest standards of urban planning and sustainability.

For his part, Engineer Mohammed bin Ghatti, Chairman of Bin Ghatti Properties, expressed his pride in participating in the initiative.

He emphasized that “Hawai Dubai” embodies the emirate’s vision of building vibrant community spaces

that enhance quality of life and reinforce Emirati identity with a contemporary spirit.

The “Hawai Dubai” initiative is one of the strategic initiatives implemented by Dubai Municipality in collaboration with the Dubai Future Foundation.

It aims to revive the spirit of the traditional Emirati “Fereej” (neighborhood) through community spaces

that encourage social interaction and support outdoor activities for senior citizens, children, and families.

This helps foster a sense of belonging and makes Dubai more attractive. As a result, it offers a higher quality of life.
