Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates expressed its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the sisterly Republic of Tunisia for the victims of the floods caused by torrential rains.

These rains struck several regions, resulting in fatalities, injuries, and significant material damage to property and infrastructure.

A severe humanitarian crisis

In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with the Tunisian government and people during this difficult humanitarian crisis.

Moreover, the statement expressed profound sorrow for the loss of life caused by the floods.

It also reiterated the UAE’s support for the brotherly Tunisian people in facing the aftermath of this natural disaster.

The statement offered heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the Tunisian government, and the brotherly Tunisian people.

It also prayed to God Almighty to grant His mercy to the deceased, a speedy recovery to the injured, and to protect Tunisia and its people from all harm.

Supporting regional and international efforts

The statement indicated that this humanitarian stance stems from the UAE’s unwavering commitment

to demonstrating solidarity with brotherly and friendly nations during times of crisis and disaster.

In addition, it reinforces the values of human fraternity and international cooperation, which are fundamental pillars of Emirati foreign policy.

The UAE, through its various institutions, continues to emphasize the importance of supporting regional

These efforts address the repercussions of climate change, thereby contributing to protecting lives and minimizing human and material losses.

This solidarity reflects the depth of the fraternal relations that unite the UAE and the Republic of Tunisia.

There is also a mutual commitment to strengthening the bonds of cooperation

and mutual support between the two brotherly peoples in all circumstances and on all occasions.

This approach serves common interests and enhances regional stability.
