Al Wahda succeeded in qualifying for the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup final for the sixth time in its history.
Al Jazira imposed their control on the game during the first 15 minutes, enjoying a slight advantage in possession. This occurred as Al Wahda retreated into their own defensive zone.
The first real threat from Al-Annabi came in the 15th minute. At that time, Brahima Diarra fired a powerful shot that was saved by goalkeeper Stojan Lekovic.
In the 18th minute, Abdullah Ramadan succeeded in opening the scoring for Al-Jazira from a penalty kick.
Facundo also had a shot from inside the penalty area in the 29th minute, but Lekovic continued his brilliance and saved the attempt.
At the start of the second half, Al Wahda entered the match with greater attacking intent and posed some threat to Al Jazira’s goal. However, Lekovic maintained his team’s advantage with crucial saves against Al Wahda’s attempts.
In contrast, Al Jazeera’s attacking attempts in the second half did not yield any results, and the match ended with this result.
