Dubai, UAE – Dubai Electricity and Water Authority has renewed its ISO 37301:2021 global quality certification in compliance management.

Which she obtained in 2023, stressing that her step comes as a new indicator of the level of maturity of her management system for compliance.

The Managing Director and CEO of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, received the ISO International Quality Certificate in Compliance Management in the Authority’s main office, in the presence of the Executive Vice President for the Business Development and Excellence Sector at the Authority, Engineer Walid bin Salman, and the Vice President for Governance and Conformity at the Authority, Dr. Ali Al Muwaiji.

Al Tayer said: “We are proceeding in accordance with the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, to reach the highest levels of government work, and in line with the eight principles of Dubai and the 50th Document launched by His Highness, and the strategic goals of the UAE, we at the Authority adopt a global framework for compliance management, and we are committed to innovation and efficiency to enhance institutional governance, ensure sustainable compliance and consolidate the highest standards of transparency and organizational responsibility.”

In turn, the Executive Vice President of the Business Development and Excellence Sector at the Authority, Eng. Walid bin Salman, pointed out that no violations were recorded during 2024.

This reflects the Authority’s commitment to the highest standards of governance, compliance and regulatory requirements.

He pointed out that the Authority’s continuous monitoring and internal controls ensure that all operations are in line with legal and ethical frameworks.

Which prevents any violations from occurring.
