Cairo, Egypt – The film “Saqr wa Kanaria” will be released today, Wednesday, in cinemas in Egypt and a number of Arab countries, following a period of public anticipation that accompanied the promotional campaign for the work during the past period.

A huge success for the official promo

The film’s official trailer generated widespread interaction across social media platforms, garnering millions of views, which increased audience excitement to watch the film as soon as it is released in cinemas.

The story of the film “Falcon and Canary”

The film revolves around the character of “Saqr,” played by Mohamed Imam, a legendary mercenary who decides to leave the world of gangs and danger in search of a quieter and more stable life. However, his plans are disrupted after meeting “Bilal,” a writer obsessed with the world of espionage and adventure. Coincidence leads the duo into a series of unexpected situations and thrilling chases, within a framework that combines comedy, suspense, and action.

The film’s heroes

The cast of “Saqr wa Kanaria” includes Mohamed Emam, Chico, Yosra El Lozy, Yara El Sokary, Khaled El Sawy, Entesar, Ahmed El Azhar, and Wael Aouni, along with a number of guest stars, most notably Nesreen Amin, Diab, Mahmoud Abdel Moghny, and Lebanese artist Bassem Moughnieh. The film is written by Ayman Wattar and directed by Hussein El Manbawy.
