Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council,
affirmed that Union Day embodies a great national milestone
in which we recall the determination of the beginnings,
From which the journey of the United Arab Emirates began,
and we recall the deep faith that the founding fathers had
in a nation capable of reaching the highest ranks.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed added in a speech on this occasion,
according to (WAM): On this day we renew our pride
We are proud of the comprehensive development
and global leadership our country has achieved in many fields.
This is thanks to the vision of our wise leadership,
which placed human beings at the heart of the development and progress process.
It has made unity a firm approach that leads us steadily towards the future.
Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed said that Union Day, with its values, approach and foundations,
strengthens in us the spirit of unity that brought the people of the Emirates together as one.
It instilled in them a sense of belonging and loyalty to this dear homeland,
and this spirit will remain the ultimate motivation to continue working and striving.
This is to enhance the progress and elevate the status of the UAE at the regional and global levels.
