Dubai, United Arab Emirates – On Monday, the UAE will witness official and popular celebrations on the occasion of “Flag Day”.

The state flag is raised and fluttered high at the same time above the headquarters of ministries and official bodies, while buildings of all kinds are draped in it.

Flag Day is an annual national occasion in which the UAE’s residents, both citizens and residents, express their belonging and loyalty to the state, and their adherence to the values and principles inherited from the founding fathers.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, called on all citizens, residents and institutions in the country to raise the flag on Monday, November 3, at 11:00 am, as an expression of the people’s solidarity and rallying around their flag, and as an embodiment of the values of union, belonging and loyalty to the nation and its leadership.

He said in a post on the X platform: “Brothers and sisters.. On November 3, we celebrate Flag Day, an annual day in which we renew our covenant, renew our loyalty, and renew our love for the flag of our state, the symbol of our sovereignty, and the flag of our union.

The occasion embodies feelings of coexistence and peace between the nation’s people and residents, and consolidates the UAE’s image as a beacon of coexistence and tolerance in the region.

Men, women, youth and children of all nationalities participate in this day by expressing their love for the UAE in various ways.
