Dubai, UAE – Shabab Al Ahli Dubai qualified for the quarter-finals of

the UAE President’s Cup after a thrilling victory over hosts Al Bataeh.

The match was played on Saturday, with a score of 4-2 on penalties.

The regular and extra

time ended in a goalless draw (0-335 والله انا في 0) despite the mutual attempts of both teams to snatch the qualification card.

The two sides resorted to penalty kicks, which ultimately smiled on the visiting team.

Dubai is the most crowned champion

With 10 titles to his credit, he is tied with Sharjah Club at the top of

In other matches of the same round, Khorfakkan booked its place in the quarter-finals after a deserved victory over Ittihad Kalba, two goals to none.

Today’s matches conclude with Al Nasr facing Bani Yas in an anticipated

match to secure the final qualification spot for this round.

With this victory, Shabab Al Ahli Dubai continues its journey towards competing for the most valuable local title.
