Dubai, UAE – UAE stock markets opened a session on Thursday, higher. Supported by the rise of a number of leading stocks in the Abu Dhabi and Dubai markets.
The Abu Dhabi Securities Market index rose by 0.46% to 9,816.76 points. The Dubai Financial Market index rose by 0.42% to 5,809.80 points.
In the Abu Dhabi market, leading stocks led the rises, with First Abu Dhabi shares increasing by 2.68% to AED 18.36. E&E 1.29% to AED 20.30, and Abu Dhabi Commercial 1.12% to AED 14.34. Gulfar 2.91% to AED 1.06, and Abu Dhabi Islamic 1.55% to AED 20.92.
While in the Dubai market, Du shares rose 1.29% to AED 12.52, and Dubai Islamic Bank rose 1.22% to AED 7.43. Emirates NBD 1.91% to AED 29.86, and Salama 0.33% to AED 0.90.
