Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Financial Market continued to rise, for the third session in a row. To close trading on Wednesday, up 1.01%, or 60.99 points, at 6115.97 points. Supported by the rise in shares of six sectors, led by real estate, industry and banking.

The listed stocks attracted significant liquidity, after trading approximately 410.14 million shares. 23,173 deals were executed.

Dubai Financial’s market capitalization exceeded one trillion dirhams to about 1.005 trillion dirhams, at the end of Wednesday’s session. Compared to 995.36 billion dirhams at the end of trading on Tuesday, with gains amounting to about 10.54 billion dirhams.

Market performance supported the growth of real estate sector stocks by 2.18%, industry by 1.49%, banks by 0.48%, and basic consumer goods by 2.02%. Public utilities at 0.89%, in addition to luxury consumer goods at 0.1%.

During trading, foreign (non-Arab) investors in the Dubai Financial Market turned to buying, with a net investment of approximately AED 192.09 million. After recording purchases worth 668.38 million dirhams, compared to sales worth 476.29 million dirhams.

The shares of six companies listed on Dubai Financial, namely Emaar Properties, Emirates NBD, Emaar Development, Air Arabia, Dubai Islamic Bank and Gulf Navigation Holding, accounted for more than 76.64% of the market’s liquidity at the end of trading on Wednesday.

According to market data, the total trading value of the six shares amounted to approximately AED 1.13 billion. While the total trading value in the Dubai Financial Market as a whole amounted to approximately AED 1.47 billion.
