Rome, Italy – Italian airline ITA has announced the resumption of its flights between Rome Fiumicino Airport and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport, starting January 1, 2026. The airline will initially operate two daily flights. There is seamless connectivity to other destinations within the ITA network via Rome.
The flights will be operated by the Airbus A321neo, ITA’s first narrow-body aircraft. The aircraft features three cabins: Business Class with fully reclining seats, Premium Economy, and Economy. The interior is spacious and stylishly designed in Italian style, with state-of-the-art lighting and 4K entertainment systems.
The A321neo is more efficient than its predecessor. It has a longer flight range, lower fuel consumption, and more than 20% lower carbon emissions per seat.
The resumption of flights between Rome and Tel Aviv is considered a strategic step to strengthen trade, social, and cultural ties between Italy and Israel. Furthermore, it contributes to supporting the national economy.
