Dubai, UAE – Dubai Aerospace Enterprise Limited announced on Wednesday the completion of the previously announced acquisition deal of the entire issued capital of Macquarie Aviation Limited and its consolidated subsidiaries.
The total value of the deal is about $9 billion. Including the impact of changes to Macquarie Aviation’s fleet between the date the deal was announced and the date it was completed.
Following the completion of the deal, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise now owns, operates and has contractual obligations related to a fleet of approximately 1,000 aircraft.
150 new aircraft
The owned and operated fleet is leased to more than 175 airlines in more than 75 countries.
The company also has commitments to purchase about 150 aircraft from Boeing, Airbus and ATR. Along with a number of counterparties in trading transactions.
The deal was first announced in February 2026. Allen Overy Shearman Sterling LLP and KPMG provided the necessary consultations to Dubai Aerospace Enterprise.
