Dubai, UAE – Dubai Chambers signed a memorandum of understanding with FedEx, the world’s largest rapid transit company. With the aim of enabling companies operating in Dubai to enhance their export readiness and accelerate their expansion into global markets. By leveraging world-class logistics solutions, a global connectivity network, and specialized expertise in the field of trade.

The MoU will contribute to enhancing the more effective participation of Dubai Chamber of Commerce member companies in global trade. By leveraging FedEx’s global transportation network, logistics expertise, and trade facilitation capabilities. In addition to preferential logistics programmes, simplified accession procedures, and customs support and advisory services.

Simplifying cross-border trade operations

This initiative aims to enable small and medium-sized companies and large companies to simplify cross-border trade operations. Reaching new international markets and enhancing their ability to compete globally with greater confidence. The agreement also includes services to facilitate trade. Including support for the temporary entry system for goods. This allows companies to transport goods more efficiently and enhances Dubai’s position as a leading global trade hub.

Dubai Chambers support the goals of Dubai’s D33 economic agenda to double the size of the emirate’s economy by 2033 and consolidate its position among the top three economic cities in the world. It is committed to achieving its strategic priorities of improving Dubai’s business-stimulating environment and attracting global companies and investments to Dubai. In addition to leading the expansion of Dubai Chambers members into foreign markets, along with developing Dubai’s digital economy.
