KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – The Asian Football Confederation held the draw for the next edition of the Asian Beach Soccer Cup on Thursday at its headquarters in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur. Scheduled to be held in Thailand from November 18 to 28.
The draw resulted in the UAE national team being in Group 3 alongside Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan. While the first group included the teams of Thailand, Japan, Bahrain, and Iraq. The second included the teams of Iran, Lebanon, Vietnam, and Afghanistan.
The first two teams in each group qualify for the quarter-finals, along with the two best third-placed teams.
