Trabzon, Turkey – Turkish club Trabzonspor announced the signing of striker Francolino Djo from Danish side Midtjylland during the summer transfer window. This move is seen as a further step to strengthen the team’s attacking line.
The Turkish club confirmed the completion of the agreement with Midtjylland and the player, so that Francolino Gloda Djo officially joins the ranks of Trabzonspor.
Francolino, 22, delivered outstanding performances for Midtjylland last season, making 34 appearances across all competitions, scoring 22 goals and providing 3 assists.
The young striker has continued his impressive form at the start of the current season, contributing to five goals in ten matches, scoring three and providing two assists.
The signing of Francolino is part of Trabzonspor’s efforts to bolster their attacking options, particularly following the arrival of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah during the summer transfer window.
Trabzonspor hopes that Francolino will provide an attacking boost to the team, alongside Mohamed Salah, during the current season’s competitions.
