Abu Dhabi, UAE – Sharjah FC achieved a well-deserved 3-1 victory over their guest Khorfakkan, in the match that brought them together at Sharjah Stadium, as part of the final round of the ADNOC Pro League.
Sharjah raised its points tally to 29, placing it in eighth position, while Khorfakkan’s tally remained frozen at 27 points, placing it in ninth position.
The home side dominated the first half. Luan Pereira opened the scoring in the 16th minute, capitalizing on a loose ball inside the penalty area and firing it powerfully into the net.
Sharjah continued their pressure before the end of the first half, with Igor Coronado adding the second goal from a penalty kick in stoppage time.
At the start of the second half, Khorfakkan quickly got back into the game after Caio Campos scored a goal to reduce the deficit in the 47th minute with a powerful shot, igniting the match early on.
