Lens, France – Paris Saint-Germain officially won the French league title after defeating Lens 2-0 in the match that brought them together as part of the 29th round of the competition.
Georgian Khvitha Kvaratskhelia opened the scoring for the Parisian team in the 29th minute, before Ibrahim Mbappe secured the victory with a second goal in stoppage time in the 90+3 minute.

They also continued their domestic dominance by winning the title for the fifth consecutive season.
The Parisian team also ended Lens’ hopes of competing for the title, after widening the gap to 9 points with only one round left in the season.
Paris Saint-Germain increased their points tally to 76, maintaining their lead at the top of the table. Lens remained in second place with 67 points.
