Abu Dhabi, UAE – Al Dhafra continued their winning run by claiming a second successive victory, defeating guests Dibba Al Fujairah 2-1 in a match held this evening at Hamdan bin Zayed Stadium, as part of Matchweek 3 of the ADNOC Pro League.

Al Dhafra took the lead early through Mohammed Al-Khalawi, who struck from outside the penalty area in the 6th minute. Dibba equalized in the 27th minute when Mohanad Ali capitalized on a precise pass from Abdullah Khamis and calmly slotted the ball into the net.

In the second half, Al Dhafra regained the lead in the 74th minute with a powerful header from Karim El Berkaoui, marking the team’s first headed goal of the season. Interestingly, Al Dhafra’s last headed goal also came against Dibba back in May 2022, scored by Abdullah Al-Rifai.

With this win, Al Dhafra raised their tally to 6 points, climbing to fourth place in the standings, while Dibba remain without a point in the penultimate position.
