Washington, United States – The US space agency, NASA, has announced the allocation of a budget estimated at approximately $30 million to execute a precise technical mission aimed at extending the operational life of the Swift Space Telescope. This proactive step is an attempt to keep the telescope in its correct orbit, following observations of a gradual decrease in its altitude around Earth, which threatens to take it out of service if technical intervention is not taken to boost its orbit.
