  • Flying without limits is getting closer to reality

Beijing, China – Scientific reports have revealed a significant development in drones technology. This comes after Chinese researchers successfully tested a system that wirelessly transmits power using electromagnetic waves.

Thanks to this system, drones can remain airborne for longer periods without needing to land to recharge.

The batteries are continuously charged

The idea relies on directing beams of microwave energy towards the drone as it flies.

This energy is then received by special units installed on the aircraft.

These units convert it into electricity that continuously charges the batteries.

This could pave the way for a new concept of near-continuous flight.

Experts believe this technology could revolutionize the use of drones,

particularly in surveillance, reconnaissance, and communications.

They could operate for extended periods, perhaps even days,

without interruption, unlike the current limitations imposed by battery capacity.

Flying without limits is getting closer to reality

Conversely, drones technology raises questions regarding safety and efficiency,

particularly concerning how to precisely direct energy without impacting the environment or surrounding devices.

Questions also arise about the technical challenges associated with energy loss during transmission.

Observers note that this development is part of a fierce global race in artificial intelligence and military technologies.

Major powers are striving to acquire more advanced tools that grant them strategic superiority in multiple arenas.

As research and experimentation continue, the idea of ”limitless flight” no longer seems to be mere science fiction.

It has become a technological project gradually approaching reality, with its significant opportunities and equally complex challenges.
