Voice of the Emirates – A team of researchers has developed an advanced robotic model based on a mechanism inspired by the movement of dogs. This step aims to enhance the robots’ walking flexibility and improve their ability to balance and handle complex terrain.

The project’s developers assert that relying on animal-like movement gives the robots greater maneuverability and shock absorption capabilities. This opens the door to a new generation of intelligent systems capable of operating in rugged environments and places difficult for humans to access.

The new model relies on high-precision simulation technologies. These technologies allow for the reproduction of the dog’s gait and the distribution of pressure on the limbs, giving the robot greater stability during movement.

Experts believe this development could have future implications for the robotics industry, particularly for rescue and logistical support. It could also have applications in security and scientific research.
