Cairo, Egypt – On Tuesday, the Israeli capital, Tel Aviv, witnessed massive demonstrations by relatives of Israeli soldiers in front of the Ministry of Defense headquarters. This came in protest against the ongoing military operations in the Gaza Strip. The protesters demanded that the Israeli government end the war immediately. They stressed that the continuation of the conflict endangers the lives of soldiers. It also increases the suffering of civilians in the Strip.

Hebrew reports indicated that the protesters raised banners and pictures of their soldier children. They made direct appeals to the government to intervene to halt the military operations. They also expressed their deep concern for the general safety of the soldiers. Furthermore, they highlighted the need to find urgent solutions to end the conflict.

In contrast, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed, in video statements posted on his Telegram channel, that the Israeli army will remain in most parts of the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that recovering all hostages is a top priority for the government. Therefore, soldiers will continue their mission to protect Israel’s security.

Netanyahu’s statements came after US President Donald Trump announced his plan to stop the war in Gaza. This plan received mixed reactions internationally.

These protests reflect growing public pressure on the Israeli government to reach swift solutions and end military operations. There are growing concerns about the continuation of the conflict and its impact on soldiers and civilians alike.
