Jerusalem, Israel – The Israeli army announced the destruction of what it described as Hezbollah infrastructure in the Ali Taher Heights area of southern Lebanon, noting that the operation comes as part of its moves to strengthen operational control over the area.
The army said its forces carried out operations targeting the party’s positions and infrastructure in the high ground, adding that their destruction completes what it described as imposing operational control over the area, both above ground and in the locations below it.
Targeting Hezbollah’s infrastructure
The Israeli army explained that its forces worked to identify and target facilities used by Hezbollah, as part of ongoing military operations in southern Lebanon.
He added that these moves are aimed at reducing the party’s capabilities in the region and removing structures that he says are dedicated to military activities.

The army indicated that its operations included infrastructure located in open areas as well as facilities and sites located underground.
