Washington, United States – US President Donald Trump revealed the outlines of a new plan to manage the Gaza Strip during the next phase,
indicating that it includes the formation of an international force to help achieve stability,
along with the establishment of a new Palestinian police force that will assume responsibility for security and administration within the Strip.
Providing a safe environment
Trump stressed that these arrangements aim to provide a safe environment that paves the way for the start of the reconstruction phase, and to ensure the stability of security and humanitarian conditions, in coordination with a number of regional and international partners.
Reorganizing the situation in Gaza
Trump added that the international force would support efforts to solidify the ceasefire, while the new Palestinian police force would manage day-to-day security,
contributing to the restoration of essential services and facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid to the residents of the Gaza Strip.
The US president indicated that these steps are part of a broader vision for restructuring the situation in Gaza after the war,
with ongoing consultations with relevant parties to establish implementation mechanisms and ensure the plan’s success on the ground.
