Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the attack that targeted two ships in the port of Damietta in the Arab Republic of Egypt, stressing its categorical rejection of all terrorist acts

and attacks that target vital facilities and threaten the security of navigation and the safety of civilians.

UAE solidarity with Egypt

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, affirmed the UAE’s ful

solidarity with Egypt in confronting all threats to its security and stability, emphasizing its firm stance

against all forms of violence and terrorism, and calling for those responsible for this attack to be held accountable.

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Egyptian government

and the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to all those injured.

The importance of strengthening international cooperation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also affirmed the UAE support for Egypt in all measures

it takes to protect its security and safeguard its citizens and vital infrastructure.

The Ministry reiterated the importance of strengthening international

cooperation to counter threats targeting the security of ports

and maritime navigation routes, thereby contributing to regional stability and ensuring the security of global trade.
