The statement added that Iraqi authorities categorically reject the use of the country’s territory or airspace to carry out any hostile acts against neighboring countries, emphasizing that Iraq will not be a battleground for settling scores or a launching pad for attacks that threaten the security and stability of the region.
The government stressed that security and military forces continue to take the necessary measures to protect the borders and strengthen state sovereignty, preventing any attempts to exploit Iraqi territory to carry out activities that threaten regional security or violate international law.
