The United Arab Emirates on Monday strongly condemned the renewed Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait with missiles and drones, emphasizing that these hostile acts constitute a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of both brotherly nations and a direct threat to regional stability.
A Flagrant Violation of Sovereignty
In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that targeting Bahrain and Kuwait represents an aggression against sovereign states and a dangerous escalation that undermines efforts to maintain regional peace. The Ministry reiterated the UAE’s firm stance against all hostile actions that destabilize the region and threaten the safety of Arab territories and citizens.
Gulf Solidarity and Full Support for Security Measures
Reaffirming its complete solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait, the UAE expressed full backing for all measures taken by both leaderships to safeguard their security, sovereignty, and populations. The statement underscored Abu Dhabi’s commitment to reinforcing collective Gulf security amidst escalating regional challenges.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged strict adherence to international law and principles of good neighborliness, calling on all parties to exercise restraint and avoid further military escalation. Abu Dhabi reiterated that diplomatic solutions and constructive dialogue remain the only viable pathway to resolve regional crises and ensure long-term stability for the region’s peoples.
