Cairo, Egypt – The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned the repeated Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Jordan.
It affirmed its categorical rejection of any actions that undermine the security of brotherly Arab states
or threaten the stability of the region. It also declared its full solidarity with the four countries.
Egypt condemns Iranian attacks
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs affirmed in
a statement that the Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and Jordan,
as well as facilities belonging to these countries, constitute an unacceptable violation of their sovereignty
and a direct threat to their security and territorial integrity.
The Ministry added that these attacks represent a dangerous escalation that will widen the circle of tension
and instability in the region. This, in turn, will negatively impact regional security.
Full solidarity with the four countries
Egypt reiterated its complete rejection of any practices that target
the security of brotherly Arab states or endanger their people and infrastructure.
It also affirmed its solidarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman,
and Jordan in confronting anything that threatens their security and stability.
Cairo emphasized its full support for the four countries and declared its backing for all measures
aimed at preserving their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
A call to halt the escalation and respect international law
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need for an immediate end to these attacks,
emphasizing the importance of respecting international law and the principles of good neighborliness.
It also called for efforts to prevent further escalation in the region.
This contributes to maintaining regional security and stability and prevents the spread of tension in the region.
