Abu Dhabi, UAE – Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed, during a phone call with Dr. Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of Lebanon, the established fraternal relations between the two countries. And ways to enhance it to serve their mutual interests.
The two sides also discussed all current regional developments and the situation in Lebanon. Especially following the announcement of the signing of a framework agreement. Sponsored and supported by the United States of America between the Lebanese government and the Israeli government.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the signing of this agreement, praising the efforts of the Lebanese government and the Israeli government that resulted in reaching it. Appreciating the role played by the United States of America in sponsoring and supporting this agreement, which contributes to enhancing security and stability in the region.
He also affirmed the UAE’s full support for all efforts aimed at achieving sustainable security and stability in the sisterly Lebanese Republic.
He stressed the UAE’s full support for Lebanon’s unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity. And everything that achieves prosperity and well-being for his brotherly people.
