Dubai, UAE – Student Sundus Muhammad Al-Sayyid Rehab won the title of champion of the Arab Reading Challenge in its tenth session at the level of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif in the Arab Republic of Egypt. Out of 2,929,597 male and female students, they represented 9,879 Al-Azhar institutes and were supervised by 8,810 male and female supervisors.
The crowning of the student Sundus Muhammad Al-Sayyid Rehab from the ninth grade at the Damanhour Model Girls Institute in the Beheira region with the title came during the closing ceremony of the tenth session of the Arab Reading Challenge at the Al-Azhar level, which took place in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, in the presence of Hamad Obaid Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of the UAE to the Arab Republic of Egypt. In the category of people with disabilities, in which 3,910 male and female students participated, first place was won by the student Muhammad Al-Amir Zakaria Riad from the seventh grade at the (Dr. Talaat Boys A) Dr. Talaat Al-Sayed Model Preparatory Institute for Boys in the Cairo region.
At the closing ceremony, the Beni Suef region was also honored for winning first place in the “Distinguished Supervisor” category.

Demira A/Th) Demira Girls Preparatory and Secondary Institute (Dakahlia). Wahba Mustafa Fouad from the eleventh grade at Darwa Girls Secondary Institute (Minya). Tasneem Ahmed Eid Abdel Hamid is from the sixth grade at Dar Al Ramad Primary Institute (Fayoum). Omar Hassan Gamal Hassan is from the eleventh grade at the (Port Said Boys A / Th) Port Said Preparatory Secondary Institute for Boys (Port Said).
The Arab Reading Challenge was able to achieve an unprecedented achievement, with the number of participants in the qualifiers for its tenth session reaching 40,286,428 male and female students from 60 countries. Among them are 74,062 male and female students with disabilities. A 24% increase over the ninth session, which saw the participation of 32.231 million students from 50 countries around the world. The tenth session also recorded the participation of 138,426 schools and 161,507 reading supervisors, both male and female.
