Abu Dhabi, UAE – The UAE, through the Emirates International Aid Agency, provided urgent relief aid to those affected by the recent floods of the Euphrates River in Syria.
This comes under the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
This aid comes within the framework of the international commitment and moral responsibility undertaken by the UAE towards communities and peoples exposed to natural disasters and humanitarian crises. The UAE is keen to respond immediately to those affected and in need by providing the necessary relief supplies and basic shelter supplies for men, women and children.
In this regard, Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al Ameri, President of the Emirates International Aid Agency, stressed the great attention and unlimited support that the wise leadership attaches to providing urgent relief aid to various countries as a result of their exposure to accidental natural disasters or critical humanitarian crises. Based on the solid legacy of the founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God bless his soul. Towards giving, generosity, solidarity, and extending a helping hand, assistance, and cooperation to serve all of humanity.
