Islamabad, Pakistan – All those aboard a Pakistani military helicopter were killed when it crashed in Pakistani-administered Kashmir. The tragic incident prompted authorities to launch an urgent investigation into the cause and circumstances.

Sudden technical malfunction

Military sources reported that the helicopter crashed during an operational mission near Muzaffarabad,

resulting in its complete destruction and parts of it catching fire.

Rescue and relief teams rushed to the crash site to deal with the aftermath.

Initial reports indicated that a sudden technical malfunction may have caused the crash.

Military authorities confirmed that a specialized committee has begun collecting technical data

and listening to available testimonies to determine the definitive cause of the accident.

The incident has caused widespread grief in Pakistan. Senior military and civilian officials have offered

their condolences to the families of the victims, praising the crew members for their service to the armed forces.

military air traffic

The incident is considered one of the most tragic military air accidents the region has witnessed recently, especially as it resulted in no survivors.

The Pakistani military has pledged to announce the results of the investigation as soon as

it is completed and to take the necessary measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

The mountainous regions of northern Pakistan experience continuous military air traffic

due to the nature of the security and logistical missions carried out by the armed forces.

This makes the safety of military aircraft a constant priority for the relevant authorities.
