Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the attacks attributed to Iran targeting the territories of Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. It affirmed that these attacks constitute a dangerous and unacceptable escalation. Furthermore, they represent a clear violation of the principles of international law and the UN Charter, threatening security and stability in the Middle East region.
The UAE stressed that targeting the sovereignty of states or undermining their internal security sets a dangerous precedent that will exacerbate regional tensions and pave the way for further instability. It also warned of the repercussions of continuing such actions on the collective security of the region’s countries and on ongoing de-escalation efforts.
The UAE affirmed its solidarity with the affected sister nations and its categorical rejection of any threats or attacks targeting their security, territorial integrity, or the interests of their people. It also stressed the necessity of concerted international efforts to halt this escalation and prevent the region from sliding into wider conflicts.
The UAE called upon the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in deterring such practices and to support political and diplomatic solutions. Furthermore, it emphasized the importance of prioritizing dialogue as the only path to ending the escalating regional crises.
