Tel Aviv, Israel – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu launched a scathing attack against Iran, asserting that the fundamental pillars of the regime in Tehran have been structurally and irreparably damaged by successive blows. He emphasized that the regime is now on an irreversible path toward collapse and complete disintegration.

Netanyahu’s sharp remarks came during an official speech at a farewell ceremony for the outgoing head of the Mossad, David Barnea. He stated unequivocally: “The foundations of this terrorist regime in Iran have crumbled and will never be the same again. I tell you clearly, its inevitable end is collapse.”

The Israeli prime minister continued, issuing stern warnings to Tel Aviv’s adversaries in the region: “Anyone who harbors malice or enmity toward Israel should know that their plots will utterly fail, and the price they will pay will be extremely high.” He added, “And the price the Islamic Republic of Iran has already paid is indeed extremely high.”

Exceptional praise for the Mossad and its capabilities

Speaking about the agency’s operational role, Netanyahu described Mossad as a “super brand” for the State of Israel. He deemed it a leading and unique institution worldwide in the fields of complex intelligence and cross-border counterterrorism. Furthermore, he confidently asserted that no other intelligence or security organization in the world possesses greater efficiency and capability than the Israeli Mossad.

The Prime Minister added that the agency, in essence, represents “a steadfast tower of exceptional human strength, tremendous technological advancement, and unprecedented operational daring.” This is demonstrated in the execution of sensitive missions behind enemy lines.

A tribute to David Parnia’s illustrious career

Netanyahu also singled out the outgoing head of the Mossad, David Barnea, for exceptional and wide-ranging praise, highly commending his long career and dedication to security service. This career spanned more than 30 consecutive years within the intelligence establishment.

Netanyahu described Barnea’s five years as head of the organization as “among the most decisive and dangerous” in modern Israeli history, given the magnitude of the existential challenges and covert operations that took place. He addressed Barnea directly, saying, “Great and unprecedented strategic achievements were realized for the security of Israel during your leadership of the Mossad.”
